Students should begin reading about the electives in preparation for beginning the registration process next Monday in classroom guidance. Students should come to class Monday having selected 6 electives they wish to take next next year. High School counselors will walk them through completing the paperwork in class. These forms will not be sent home. This is the first draft in the process and parents will have the opportunity to request changes after the high school compiles the teacher core class recommendations with the student elective selections. The compilations are sent home for parent approval in April.
For the first time, foreign language classes are being signed up for separately using a new form. Students should still select 6 electives from the above brochure knowing foreign languages will replace some of their selections.
