2018-19 School Choice

The Cobb County School District is 

again offering School Choice (HB 251)

transfers for the 2018-2019 school year. 

Individual school capacity information and 

applications will be available beginning

February 5, 2018 on the District website.

Hidden Dangers Reminder

Child trafficking has reached epidemic proportions in the Atlanta area! Atlanta is the #2 city for child trafficking in the US, second only to Los Angeles. Social media has made it very easy to capture our kids. Boys and girls, age 11-15, are their target market. It is going on all around us and we need to make our kids/students aware immediately! Instagram, Facebook, Snap Chat, Twitter, photographers and modeling agencies are our nemesis. They find them, reel them in…and the nightmare begins.

PSAT 8/9 Scores Coming Home Today

PSAT 8/9 scores were distributed to students during homeroom. Several excellent student and parent resources are available on the College Board website to help with understanding the PSAT score report, as well as aids on helping improve scores on future SAT related tests.  The link to the website is below.
