7th Grade IOWA score coming home today

Student copies of the IOWA score reports are being sent home today. 

CoGat score reports were not provided by the testing company but they can be looked up electronically upon request.  However, the electronic report only contains the raw scores themselves without the same level of detailed explanation the IOWA report provides.

Is College Right For Me Debate

Last week during classroom guidance 8th grade students discussed the pros and cons of their various post-high school educational opportunities (college, technical college, vocational tech, military, etc).  As part of the lessons students debated the accuracies and fallacies of a John Stossell news report.  To view the news report click on the link below.

Complementary Pebblebrook Tickets for 8th Grade Families

Complementary tickets to this weekend’s performances of SAMANTHA SPADE, ACE DETECTIVE at Pebblebrook/CCCEPA are available upon request. Interested 8th grade families should email Pebblebrook Magnet director Frank Timmerman (Frank.Timmerman@cobbk12.org) and request the number of needed tickets.

SAMANTHA SPADE, ACE DETECTIVE is a new one-act musical that we’ve been asked to workshop at Pebblebrook. It’s a musical written for and about kids. The writers of the show arrived from Los Angeles and New York last night, and they’ll be with us through the final performance on Sunday.
